The Black Organization of Students Alumni Association (BOSAA) at Rutgers-Newark cordially invites you to a kick-off dinner celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Founding of the Black Organization of Students (BOS). The celebration will take place at the Paul Robeson Campus, Essex Room, on the Rutgers-Newark Campus, located at 350 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (formerly High Street), Saturday, May 5, 2018.

Our keynote for the evening is Richard W. Roper, Founding President, BOS and current member of the Board of Governors and our honorees who were instrumental in the founding of BOS are Janet Foster and Bessie Nelms Hill (posthumous award).  Our Mistress of Ceremonies is Edna Bailey Woody.

We hope that your schedule will allow you to join us for a night of reminiscing about the sisterly and brotherly love, respect, and struggles that the pioneers of diversity demonstrated during the late 1967-1968 historic event. Doors open at 5:00 PM for registration and cocktails. The program will start promptly at 5:30 PM and end at 8:30 PM.  Music provided by Leo Johnson Jazz Trio

We have allowed time so that everyone can enjoy some time with old friends, make new ones, as well as catch up with the progress of Rutgers alumni, students, faculty, and administrators.
